I partnered with Warner Music to create Highway 1 Sessions—a 5-part documentary video series that follows Morgan Evans as he reflects on the emotional journey of making his new album. I was responsible for editing, sound design, and color grading, shaping a cinematic yet intimate experience that travels along California’s rugged coast and into the heart of his music. This series captures vulnerability, beauty, and grit through story, texture, and tone.

Highway 1 Sessions invites fans into the heart of Morgan Evans’ songwriting process—from quiet beach towns to open roads. This series was designed to reflect authentic storytelling with a cinematic soul, capturing the energy of creation and the peace of reflection.

The palette for Highway 1 Sessions was designed to reflect natural tones of the Pacific coastline—warm neutrals, deep blues, misty grays, and coastal sunlight.

Mood by Color

Each shot was carefully graded to reflect the mood and atmosphere of Morgan’s journey. From golden hour coastlines to night drives on Highway 1, color helped translate the story visually.
